Let one of our pro editors turn your footage into an awesome clip you can share with your friends and family. Painless, fast and cheap.
After you sign up and connect your Dropbox or Google Drive to xcut, a special xcut folder is created in your chosen storage. Any folder you create under the xcut folder is a project. Name your folder the same name you would have titled your video clip. For example: Surfing Costa Rica.
Copy any number of MP4 footage files, at any size, into the project's folder. And... Basically that's it. Your storage engine will notify us about your new project and after we'll confirm the contents of the projects with you, we'll start editing.
Next time you'll hear from us will be with a link to your clip. You can always watch it for free, or if you like to share it with your friends and family you can purchase it and we'll upload it to your Youtube. Expect to pay anywhere between $5-50.
We'll edit your clip for free. If you like it and want to share it with your friends and family, you can purchase it and we'll upload it to your Youtube. Each project requires different amount and type of work. Therefore there isn't any flat pricing -- we need to see your footage before we can set the price. That said, expect to pay anywhere between $5-50, depending on the footage you submit. The best way to get a clue on how much you'd pay, would be to simply create a project, copy the footage files and wait for the clip to be edited.
Sure. You don't have to but we won't mind if you do. You can either copy a word document or a text file with instructions to the editor to the project's folder, or wait until we send you a work order and add it there. You can write anything you want. For example provide sequences you want included (e.g. please include 1:02-1:10 in GOPRO1038.MP4), titles you want to add, effects you'd like to see in certain sequences (e.g. The jump I make in GOPRO453.MP4 in 5:32, can you do it in slow motion?) etc. Everything you think the editor needs to know in order to satisfy you.
Sure. We can pick the music for you but if you know what you want that's great. You can either copy a music file to the project's folder, or paste a Youtube link to the music you want in an instructions document you copy to the project's folder, or you can wait until we send you the work order, and provide the Youtube link there.
Sure. Just keep in mind that we probably won't use them all or even neither, depending on art considerations, unless you explicitly ask for them to be included in the instructions you provide (e.g. Please include GOPRO2010.JPG and GOPRO2012.JPG).
It usualy takes several days before your clip is ready.
